<45 dB désigne le seuil sonore en dessous duquel le niveau devient un espace calme. <45 dB est un espace immersif dans lequel le public est invité à interagir avec son environnement sonore à travers l'expérience du silence. Grâce à l'utilisation de laine de chanvre, de lin et de coton recyclés, <45dB est une tentative de capturer un environnement silencieux. Dans un contraste entre la légèreté du bois et les lourds matériaux isolants, la structure modulaire et la rareté du silence, l'installation invite à se réapproprier la réduction des sons d'un lieu.

< 45 dB refers to the sound level below which the level becomes quiet space. <45 dB is an immersive space in which the public is invited to interact with their sound environment through the experience of silence. Through the use of recycled hemp wool, linen and cotton <45dB is an attempt to catch a silent environment. Within the contrast between of the lightness of wood and the heavy isolating materials, the modular structure and the rareness of silence, the installation invites to reappropriate the reduction of sounds within a location.
